The first part is BS. How can it be "early days" when the first home game is next Thursday, and the first home league game is two weeks tomorrow? If the first part is BS, the second probably is too.
As you say though, an interesting quote.
Just phoned Supporter Services who confirmed that if you have already booked and paid for a 2014/15 Uni parking S/T, you will still get it. It's "very likely" that it'll be another mirror hanger rather than a book of individual tickets.
Probably as the front man, yes. But shirley TB would have been involved in deciding whether the club wanted to affect their "premium" customers (ahem, fans) quite so much?
Interesting you say that. I paid for uni parking last season (I don't get free 1901 parking as I only have 1 seat in 1901). I've also paid for uni parking for this season - they've taken my money and haven't (yet?) told me that "errr...sorry....", so we'll see.
Last time I checked though...
Dunno - that sentence is all they have to say on the matter - it doesn't read like it's only for disabled folk to me
Presumably you show your 1901 S/T to get access? Gotta keep hoi polloi normal S/T off the shuttle somehow. *ducks*
Most are normal, whatever normal is, at least in my lounge. Maybe there is a greater proportion of older folk (more disposabale income in 1901 than the other stands)? Maybe it's targeted at the folk in the Platinum lounges where there are more truly corporate fans, who maybe really don't want...
Nope.
"Parking for 1901 Club Platinum and Gold members will now be at Sussex University, there will be a shuttle bus service in operation from the University car parks to the coach park at the stadium to assist members"
1901 parking now in Uni. Buses from uni to coach park laid on. Disabled parking still available at the ground.
Might explain why there's only parking at the Bridge available for some of the home games I've looked at....
