When I phoned up, I was told the same thing - white rectangle background. Red number.

I ordered a number 5 so I can be Andy Rollings.

Please. No name! It won't look right with a name on the back. It will ruin the look.

The discount is 10%. Numbers in felt felt sewn on. It would be wise to request the number as red with a white square background otherwise they will do it as red directly on the stripes.

Happy to oblige. In case it is not clear, the colour of the badge is still blue and white... This one's also worth a look at. Sadly, I don't have a picture of the red Bukta away shirt that was just like this design...

There's a not very good reproduction of it in the club shirt with current seagull with yellow beak down the sleeves and current Albion badge on front (original one didn't have our badge on). The towel material is just about right, though. (I'm going to make my own one in the coming months.)

Just had a look at the stick-on badge Toffs used on their current 77-80 shirt and yes, it is embroidered. You're right.

True. Thanks for that close-up, Phil. With Toffs, if the prototype is anything to go by, it looks like they're going to do a stick-on badge which allows them to get more detail into the font. The replica shirt, which had the stick-on adhesive for the badge, had Eurostile, although the spacing...

It would be lovely if Toffs manage to get the Eurostile font for the badge, rather than what they currently use. This is the badge with Eurostile:

The collar on the prototype would be correct for 1977/78. See: It is in 1978/79 and 1979/80 that the panel under the collar is no longer filled in.

I'm pretty certain that shirt never had the BHAFC letters on it. It had an Umbro (or sometimes Bukta) logo on it, though.

Oh yeah, and I'm so excited by this turn up. Phil, could you please ask that they don't put that extra white ring on the badge as that is not on the original shirt?

The match worn ones had the badge and bukta logotype embroidered whereas the replica kits had those printed on. The colour of the logotype and badge on the replica kits wore off on many I have seen.
