You mentioned God, not me. No suggestion from me about his god or gods - just the suggestion that he MIGHT - like participants in dangerous sports - have thought the risks were worth it. Or he might not, and just not understood - I don't know, nor do you.....
The stuff about a miracle...
............or maybe the lad himself was just desperate to keep playing regardless of the risks, like those people who do dangerous sports? - climbing the most dangerous mountains, free-climbing, base-lining or racing motorcycles at close to 200mph round the Isle of Man. Death is always a risk...
See synonyms........be angry, seethe, smoulder, simmer. Can't see your problem to be honest.
Anyway, I don't have one with it; I'm happy - and staying that way.
I don't think anyone is complaining, are they? - apart from FC Zurich and Dwamena's agent, both of whom can see £ signs disappearing into the distance.
Maybe FC Zurich fancied copping £10M plus? Maybe the lad still wanted to play in the PL, despite the risks? Or maybe there's a difference of medical opinion on how serious, or potentially serious, his condition is?
PS. No matter how many questions you ask, I still don't know any of the...
Perhaps the player knows the risks, and is happy to take a chance?
And obviously, I know nothing about his heart problem - for all I know it may not be a potential Marc Vivien Foe job at all.
If it's his health, maybe it's more about his life than the money. It was, apparently, a heart problem, not just an iffy ankle or something. Even if the fee was ten quid, plus a set of kit and a pair of goal nets, would we really want him to do a Marc Vivien Foe one beautiful afternoon at the Amex?
Shame. I know that (just as with all our signings this summer) I'd never heard of him so had no idea if he'd turn out to be any good or not, but I had a sort of hopeful feeling about this one. I just hope now that this Izquierdo bloke turns out to be f**king brilliant!
Out of interest, how many clubs have been sniffing around our players? All the talk has been about incoming players - and possible incoming players - but hardly a murmur about people leaving. Reading may have been a bit interested in Hemed, it's been rumoured, and of course we've sent out a few...
Update. Sky News seem to think that he (Izquierdo) is in contention for tonight against Barnet, so maybe it's all been finally sorted now? Or are Sky jumping the gun?
But if you have a t that hasn't been crossed and you put a dot above it, it becomes an i. Similarly, when an undotted I gets crossed, it becomes a t. Problem solved.
