I'm assuming you're not thick (although with some very weird opinions at times) so maybe the language is a problem? The question is not about 'genuine immigrants' and 'non-genuine immigrants'. It is about genuine assylum seekers and non-genuine assylun seekers'.

Stop asking questions to which you know the answers damn fine. We'd have a lot more welcome immigrants still doing a good job in this country if it were not for Project Fear telling them that all immigrants would be unwelcome if the leave vote prevailed.

Irrelevant. It was a balls up before Brexit and it's been a balls up since, The government made cuts after cuts after cuts after cuts until there was no control. Put it down to the Government's mantra of cut everything, because that's the problem - and if the remainers haven't noticed, Brexit...
No, we're not treatig them too well - but the fact that they are where they are is also their responsibility. They were warned not to come. They were told it was illegal (as well as a threat to life and limb to cross the channel when they were perfectly entitled to claim asylum where they were)...
