Well, it's a free country, so I guess you are probably entitled to ignore the fact that Torquay and Plymouth are on the south coast if you want to.
It's the West Country, by the way, in the same way that you're in West Sussex, not Westsussex - you wouldn't want to be that naff, would you?

Incidentally, I knew what you meant. Just that Torquay and Plymouth aren't just technically on the coast, they are actually on the coast (which, incidentally, is the south coast). And of course, it's not possible to be champions of the south coast...
Technically on the coast? What does technically on the coast mean? - they're right next to the bl00dy seaside so they are on the coast! Exeter aren't, by the way.
They were for most of our existence - and sometimes finished above us! The question was have we ever finished top of all the south coast clubs, so Torquay must be taken into account too.
