Montoya doesn't score one goal every four and a (very small) bit matches, but Tavernier does for Rangers. Frankly, we'd be quite pleased if any of our attacking players could manage 1 in 4 (although Murray has managed tis, but surely can't much longer).

Well, if you don't rate first time pin point crosses and goal chances created, then we can certainly do without the likes of Tavernier. Let's just stick with wingers who can't do that.

I've only seen highlights, not whole matches, on TV so I can't really comment on his defending, but he pings across some fabulous crosses, and delivers them quickly too. I could well believe he was on our radar in the summer, but now we've got Montoya I'd have thought that chasing after another...

Not sure we do need another RB at this moment, but as an attacking force, his delivery is superb. Dangerous balls into the box from positions where our players are more likely to turn round and pass it back to someone in the centre circle. Defending? Not sure.........................
