Whether or not Locadia plays against Swansea, one thing I'm very certain of. We haven't £14M not to play him. So eventually, therefore, he's got to replace someone. CH's decision, obviously - that's what he's paid a lot of money for. FWIW, my four penn'orth is on Murray.

Fair enough - and I'm not saying he is better either - although I hope for £14M he will be! It's one of the things we'll have to used to, favourite players who's places in the team were guaranteed suddenly being reduced to squad members - see Bruno and Knocky this season, not guaranteed a start...

At £14M, wouldn't you think we'd only pay that sort of money if he was better than whoever else we've got to play up front? So, in a 4-4-1-1, Murray's place would be up for grabs. TB is hardly likely to sanction paying £14M for someone who they consider not as good as what we've got already.

I'm sure he will be too - just saying that at £14M he's got to be a first choice for the first team very soon, if not straight away (although I do realise that our previous record signing spent a while kicking his heels too).

We've only paid £14.1M (allegedly) for Locardio. So, obviously not a major signing - he'll need a few games in the U23s to assess whether he's worthy of a place on the bench, surely?
