I caught my 200th (Girafarig) yesterday. I have enough Sunkern, Slowpoke, Onix and Poliwag candies for their Gen2 evolutions, but none of the required special items. I did get a special item on my 7-Day streak yesterday, but it was an UpGrade which is the only one of the lot I've already...

Mine was 882CP before I upgraded it and is now 1437. Its moves are 'Hidden Power' (15) and Solar Beam (180). When I tap the appraisal option, the woman tells me that its a 'wonder' and a 'breathtaking Pokemon' so she seems quite keen on it.

I evolved an Ursaring and caught a Skarmory today, so 194 for me now.

Just been able to use a special item for the first time and got myself a Porygon2. I've also evolved a Lanturn (from Chinchou) and caught an Octillery and a Sudowoodo in the last couple of days, so making steady progress in filling up my Pokedex (up to 192 caught now).

I got an 'Up-Grade' special item this morning which will mean I can get a Porygon2 as soon as I have the required number of candies. Conversely, I have enough Onix candy to get a Steelix, but haven't yet got the necessary 'Steel Coat' item.

Just finished off my day nicely with a 1075CP Crobat.

I'd say I've been seeing about a 50/50 split between old and new.

A lunchtime stroll around Worthing seafront has seen me add Snubbull, Granbull, Misdreavus, Slugma, Remoraid, Sunkern and Hoppip to my collection as new species, and I've managed to add a few more candies for Sentret, Wooper, Marill and Natu towards their respective evolutions.

Yep, got an Umbreon and Espeon here too. My commute to work also yielded Noctowl, Hoothoot, Natu, Murkrow, Wooper, Spinarak, Sentret, Ledyba, Chinchou, Aipom, Marill and Swinub.

There are other Gen 1 creatures which now have new evolutions - Golbat, Seadra, Gloom, Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, Scyther, Chansey and Onix off the top of my head. Some just need candy, some need an additional item of some kind which you can get via Pokestops.

I can entirely understand your mixed feelings on the Dragonite! My Kabuto/Kabutops is nearly done, with Dragonite being my next buddy target - at least this new lot will give me something to look for while working on that!

For those still in need of one, increased spawns of Porygon are part of the event too. Hopefully this extra candy thing will help me finish off my Kabutops, but that will still leave me Dragonite, Snorlax, Tangela, Pichu, Togetic and Elekid missing from my currently available set.

For clarity, that response was in relation to the question of what CAN be obtained, rather than what I have. I personally have Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi and Smoochum from that list.

Got a Smoochum from my other 10k, so at least something new to me and not another bloody Lapras! I have now got a new 10k egg on the go (I have been finding them a LOT more frequently lately), so fingers crossed for something useful from that in due course.
