This is absolutely ace; 80s Soviet Synthpop. Great song, great sound, great voice, miserable audience, and a band member who clearly didn't get the memo! It's become a new favourite of mine.

Not a fan of Jimmy Tamborello? How about this one, guaranted 'smurf' free. Or his work as Dntel? Or as one half of The Postal Service? Top electro-pop with Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie: I think 'Give Up' is probably one of my most played albums of the last 10 years.

It just doesn't work. It sounds like someone's just playing Nina Simone in the background and it keeps interfering with The Cure's epic. It doesn't sound 'blended'.

Really enjoyed that; what else can you recommend in a similar stylee please?
