It is interesting going back over some of the early posts on this thread. While the OP should be embarrassed and, as far as I can see, has not admitted how wrong they were, there are plenty of others who look stupid too. One poster even claimed that Ryan looked like the club's worst signing ever...

I think the issue is we have only one target up front so there is a limit to what Ryan can aim for. Maybe the club feel by pushing Murray/Hemed out wide at goal kicks it either takes one of the centre backs out of position or leaves them against a full back. Agree that it isn't quite working yet...

To be fair, I think it is a tactic to kick it out rather than pass. And also to kick it out to the wings which leaves less room for error than normal for a keeper.

Any change to your views on Shane Duffy? Or do you still think he is rubbish?

How many players do there need to be who struggle for a couple of games and then do well before nobody judges players for 10 games at least. This thread was started at half time in his second league game. Completely embarrassing for the OP. Suttner and Propper were both written off by some too...

That is one of the most clueless comments I have seen. It is ironic you put this in the Maty Ryan thread as Duffy was another written off after two games last season. Why did we spend a record amount on a terrible defender etc etc? £3.5 million now looks an absolute bargain and I am confident...

Frankly, it looks very like you are trying to criticise Ryan and mainly because we have a good defence. Why not support our players rather than trying to find stats to criticise them with?

Completely agree, although I would add a bit of Murphy to the Leicester goal for giving the ball away and then not tracking back to support Suttner. It also doesn't reflect how good the saves were. You could have had 20 shots straight at you and be top of the list or have made only 10 saves but...
