That's not the point (and you know it). Leicester tried to sign a striker and failed even though they're top of the Premier League. The point was, and you know full well what I meant, that if they can't sign a quality striker, it puts our search into perspective.

Agree. Think we've got real quality going forwards now with Knockaert, LuaLua back, Wilson seemingly staying and hopefully Skalak offering quality too. Looking forward to the rest of the season and we have the loan window too if needed.

Pointless post(er). If we signed Messi and Neymar you would moan that they were untried foreign players who had no Championship experience.

That's what I was wondering. Is the fans idea of a big signing the same as the clubs? Skalak is a Czech international so should be a good signing if we get him.

If the club aren't making a big signing tonight, they have a very strange agenda to make everyone think they are. I'm beginning to think we might get Skalak (as they let Manu go out on loan) and a striker too.

I'd pretty much given up on any first team signings but, judging by the club tweets, I'd be very surprised if there's not one, or even more, signings.
