All credit to Geelong on Saturday - Carlton just didn't have enough in the tank to wrestle the game away from them. Kicking was generally poor from the Blues (for a 2nd week in a row) with far too many behinds and easy missed chances. Too little too late in the end, but a great game of football...

The weather may not look great for the weekend, but Im tempted to head over to Waterhall after the Carlton game tomorrow morning to watch the Sussex Swans take on North London Lions. Ball up is 12.30 for the men, and 2.30 for the women. Go Swannies!

Not managed to see much AFL at all over the weekend as I was so busy. Will have to catch up this week! If anyone is interested in watching the game locally, Sussex Swans are growing fast, and the season is just about to start. They're having a family fun day on April 14 in Preston Park too...
