Right at the very end of the cliff top gravel road...pretty much next to the steps down to the beach, and the open land where they filmed the pilot for Mr Bean (the famous blind man / getting changed into swimming trunks scene)

Smugglers Rest these days. I saw them filming there one day on my way to work. Amazing how many trucks etc are needed for one small scene like that...the car park was completely full!

I think quite a few of those shops along there do tbf!

Very good I thought. I've not read any of the books so dont know how close they stuck to the story-line etc, but well worth watching.

I thought it was pretty accurate for continuity tbh (apart from the hospital?) BUT - I was frustrated they passed off Newhaven Harbour as Shoreham Harbour at the end, then had him speeding along the A259 from Brighton to Newhaven! :whistle: Great programme though - really enjoyed it.
