Agree, and obviously not all disabilities are visible, so those not wearing a mask shouldn’t necessarily be challenged or judged. All it needs is for those that can wear a mask to play ball. Not too much of a hardship, is it?

I think once you get past that 6 month elapse period from your second vaccination and are over 50 or vulnerable you are then entitled to a booster, and can book online, or as in your experience walk in. There is no need for an invite, per se.

Clearly the phrase I used "invitation" is ambiguous, but I still stick by you can't book a booster on the NHS app unless 6 months has elapsed, or you HAVE been sent an invite. Was the walk in centre taking people under 6 months from last jab?

That's because, since the Stay Alert message they have put the onus of responsibility firmly on the public. That way if this does go tits up this winter it will be OUR fault.
