It is a disaster if true. Our threat is reduced dramatically, Ferguson is not in his league currently.
I don’t think Ferguson can complain about proper game time either, he’s started 12 of the 22 league games he’s been available and subbed on with plenty of time to go in 9 others. Started both...
That may be the response from an English fan of smaller clubs but it’s certainly not what the PL/UEFA/FIFA and wider media want or will accept, hence the financial rules will be weakened.
I just can’t see it.
How long do you think clubs like Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal with the ownership they have will put up with this? All three apparently didn’t spend in January because of the rules, they’re not going to put up with that for long and the other big clubs will feel the same...
Don’t be so sure about lower transfer fees and wages. Remember the after effect of Covid was supposed to so the same.
It’s a matter of time before these rules are softened or you can kiss goodbye to football as we know it and welcome the Super League.

Give him a new contract now, whatever he wants, just give it to him. Incredible. He’s elite, the best striker who’s ever played for us and probably ever will.
De Zerbi already saying it will be tough to keep him for the next year!!!
PLEASE can we get at least two seasons out of him?! I know the club model but it’s so depressing to think he might not be here next season!
Yeah said that in the game. He and Welbz were our first line of defence, both absolutely outstanding leading from the front.
Pray they both stay fit from here on in.
WHAT. A. PLAYER!!!
Keep having to pinch myself he’s a Brighton player! And only just turned 22!
Can clearly see why Watford made him captain at such a young age. In the unlikely event he’s still a Brighton player when Dunk retires, he’s my choice to take over!
Just reading a piece on the Athletic about our Brazilian number 9. Obviously we know he’s scored 6 penalties this season, but the piece highlighted the fact he has won 5 of them! That is incredible. I knew he’d won a few but it hadn’t occurred to me it was that many. And non of them for the...
