A lot of people seemed to enjoy total blindness when Barnes was here. He wasn't hounded out by the fans though, the club didn't offer him a very good deal and so he took a better one elsewhere, I'm sure most of us would have done the same.

Rubbish. All of his goals were either deflection, penalties or tap ins from five to twenty five yards. Even Stevie Wonder could see that.

He didn't kick the ref though.

No way. Never smiled enough when he played for us. The fact that he has scored more PL goals than Murray, Lambert, CMS, Hoskins, all of whom also scored 20 goals the year we were promoted, this season, is down to luck.

Probably missed twelve sitters earlier though and a poor goal celebration. Conference standard at best.
