Apart from the result (1-3) a great day at Peacehaven, a gate of 435 doubled this seasons best and once the beer kicked in Peacehaven's vocal element enjoyed a sing up. Plenty of handshakes all round at the end and an early afternoon stagger home was akin to a nice warm summers evening. I don't...

I see your game against Cray Valley (31/12) has had the kick off changed back to 3 pm by the league despite both clubs having agreed a 1 pm ko! If anyone is in that neck of the wood I recommend the Tunbridge Wells match, Crowborough play good football and TW fans make a lot of noise!

County league matches are always 11am on Bank Holidays and have been for years, dunno why though. Anyway jump on a 12, we'll have a barrel of Harvey's on, (or stick on a red n yellow scarf, stick yer thumb out and one of your fellow "dockers" will give you a lift up the hill)

Oh, and if you are going to a local match take plenty of £1 coins ,bigger than usual crowds always mean the turnstiles and bar run out!

With no Albion match its a great opportunity to take a peek at your local side, you may be pleasantly surprised. Affordable football, usually friendly, Beer in a glass! The lower leagues use common sense regarding travelling with an easy to predict fixture list creating some "tasty" matches...
