Ha ha. Good question. It was an evening match and it so happened that one of my companions was staying at ours overnight and the other had come from work and had his gym stuff.

We are all different. I think it was a valid complaint. A stupid and petty action. And NSC is a good place to complain about it. If you don't agree - other threads are available.
If smuggling pyrotechnics was that big a problem they would be searching all the adults as they did at Spurs away. Clearly they are not that bothered (thankfully - and why should they be that bothered?) - so why not leave the kids alone ?
And it still makes me cross that the stewards tried to search our then under 10 years of age children away at Cheltenham the first time we were there.

I am in the camp that stewards need to show some common sense. At the Amex - ESL - if you bring a bag they will confiscate those little deodorants - as they nay be used as missiles. But if you have not got a bag you are not searched and your coat pockets could be stuffed with the things. It...
