Just one more time - the shifts were already uncovered as of a few days ago because there is a shortage of both drivers and guards. There really wasn't some mass sickness event today.
Well it was reported incorrectly then. They don't have enough staff to run the normal service so they were never going to have enough to run extra services.
I assume you have evidence for this? How many didn't turn up for work today? Because last time I checked the duties were uncovered days ago and Southern knew this.
