I'm well out of the loop on this stuff these days. I have a Rotel RA-931 from the turn of the century and married a Pro-Ject Debut III to it about 8 or 9 years ago. Does the job.

Agree with Superphil, the Pro-Ject Debut III turntable is a lovely piece of kit.

That is the joy of albums really. You buy something for one or two tracks... you might not even like the rest on a first hearing and it gets relegated to the bottom of the pile... then sometime later you listen again and think "why have I not been listening to this more?"

When I got together with the lovely Mrs Orange she came complete with a record box full of albums... but no turntable. So a Pro-ject Debut III was quickly added to my Hi-Fi, and gets the occasional run-out - it was very useful when she wanted to listen to some P.W.E.I. before she went off to a...
