I have two three letter words for you my griend, JAL and ANA . . . enough said.
The two letter word, BA are exactly what the letters stand for, Bloody Awful.
You are absolutely correct on all counts, l spent many years working for BA, retiring in 2016, they are a mere shadow of their former selves.
Once an airline l was proud to represent, not the case any longer.
Just one final note . . . both Japan Airlines and All Nippon offer much better inflight service than BA, especially in the premium cabins.
You are sorted now though and have got what you want, that's the most important thing.
