Yes agreed, it will feel like he is going home in his eyes. In true Albion style when former Albion stars come up up against us, a couple of those goals will be netted at the Amex.
Not by nature a leader of the line either, whilst seemingly scoring for fun in his Brentford days by playing off a front target man, we mainly played him as a lone striker. I think his goals per game ratio suffered for it.
Well that late Palarse leveller was just an example, whilst never prolific he has scored quite a few for us over several seasons, although the goals had dried up a bit towards the end.
I'm sad to see his demise at Everton though, it can't be much fun for anyone playing for them at the moment.
Well it's true that he has missed sitters, but only one goal scored in 17 appearances, and even that wasn't a worldie.
