A very good point actually, do these staff get much training? very little would be my guess. After all many of them are uni students, and hardly look upon a job like that as a career opportunity, just awa way of generating a bit of cash to help with their social life..
When would Sodexo get...
Quite. As much as we might chastise them at times, these servers don't have an easy time of it, they are in a pressure environment, with a lot of people wanting to be served almost immdiately, little things like that perhaps we ought to let go.
I think the thing that slows down service in every kiosk on every concourse, is the staff not knowing what they sell, where to find things, and knowing how much to charge.
Funnily enough Dexy and his obnoxious mate who sit next to me did just that, missed all of those goals and several others over the seasons through 'nipping out to get a few in' just before half time and returning to their seats a bit late..
As l've said to them many a time, why don't you two...
The problem is, now that catering has been outsouced, that there is only so much that the club are in control of. Short of sacking Sodexo, (and the club have already dismissed two catering 'partners'), there isn't a great deal that they are able to do.
One thing that I have noticed since the start of the current season, is the lack of threads on the incompetance of the catering at the Amex.
Has it really improved? or have there simply been more pressing things to post on?
