To be fair I don't think that was too bad a penalty, just not hit firmly enough. I have certainly seen worse, like his pen against Manure which he managed to score from.
He was the obvious choice yes, but who knows, on the night maybe someone else could have fancied it.

The last one l can remember Glenn hitting with any real venom sailed over the bar gainst Burnley last season. He just isn't a smack it type player, that applies to nearly all of his outfield goals too. The vast majority being scored from inside the 18 yard box.
With no disrepect to Solly intended, he is one of the last players l would want to see walk up to the penalty spot. He isn't confident or decisive enough.
Hmmm whoever takes a penalty needs to totally believe that they are going to score though, and those three you mention need to concentrate on getting games under their belts first and foremost.
Even if he does l'd hand the ball to Glenn, (providing he wants it). Although he was successful with two out of his three spot kicks l was never confident that Pascale was going to score from any of them.
