Looks wonderful. Of course this is the time of year when Germany really comes to the fore on the home cooking front. Lots of amazing schnitzels, ham hocks, bratwursts etc. Different types of potatoes, sauerkraut etc too. Absolutely delicious.
Absolutely. Even the cheapest toughest cuts of meat can end up so tender when cooked long and slow. One pot cooking is great at this time of year too. Cuts down on the washing up as well.
