Not a great loss in terms of starting games perhaps, but he has always been one of those players who, if the game isn't going to plan, or we need some attacking impetus, can be brought on after an hour or so, to add some much needed zest to the attack.

Just can't see him agreeing. He can do much better for himself than a League One team. And that's presuming that the Addicks agree to the deal in the first place of course, which is a big IF.
Unless he actually wants to go, I agree. Even when/if he doesn't start games, he is always a great option off the bench when players tire, or games don't go to plan.
