How is it pointless? It doesn’t matter who else wears one, just safeguard yourself.

I see it as protecting myself and my loved ones, so as long as I’m wearing one I don’t care that much about others who are happy taking that risk by not bothering. At the height of the pandemic I rail commuted to work and saw many who flaunted it, BTP lacking the resources to police it.

Have never stopped wearing mine in shops and on public transport as I’m conscious of indirectly safeguarding my elderly parents, especially with flu season incoming. Always grateful for it when in enclosed spaces with the Great British public coughing and sneezing. I’m guessing those who don’t...
