Yes but it's the ease with which its done. It ignores all other writing and just recognises the card in an instant. I didn't even hold it straight and it recognised every detail. It might just be ocr but it's an advanced version.

Just worked it out, you have a default card in settings you can change to any card you like. But if you don't want to pay with default, you have to open the passbook app first and choose an alternative card.
