Rampion wind farm - Turbines will be 689 feet tall !!!

Downs have to play their part? Eh? What does that mean? Sorry this whole idea is daft and will do next to nothing in reducing greenhouse gases which is the ultimate aim here. As I have stated there are many more ways of producing clean energy and reducing greenhouse gases. This is nothing more...

Rampion wind farm - Turbines will be 689 feet tall !!!

Well no, originally it would have been Molton lava and then after that seabed, but I can't see anyone trying to recreate those environments. Come on mate, if it's been the way it is for 800 years, I think it's worth keeping it that way. BUT then again plant some trees because as I said earlier...

Rampion wind farm - Turbines will be 689 feet tall !!!

I actually heard it from Sir Paul McCartney at a UN seminar on the environment a few years back. I have no idea if the statement was 100% accurate. Yet what is undeniable is that deforestation is the biggest source of global warming by a million miles. A few wind farms will do next to nothing in...

Rampion wind farm - Turbines will be 689 feet tall !!!

Not sure what I think about this. I can't say I'm pleased as I think they look bloody awful. How much energy they really make is also up for debate. There are much more windy and remote places to put this farm. I mean the sea isn't restricted like land so the possibilities must be almost...
