The Sportsman at Seasalter are taking bookings for 2023 as of this morning. Usually a long wait time for a weekend booking so a good time to get in there.
Haven't been for a while and never went for anything outside of the set menu which used to be a bargain for 17 quid or whatever. Salt Room has been consistently excellent though and they may be the have dropped the ball at Coal Shed as that's not the first type of report I've heard.
Where's fun in town that I might not have been? Anniversary coming up. Got half an eye on that Tutto as it opens a week earlier. Might hit Riddle and Finns in the Lanes but their waiting list system is a tad annoying. Also considering Flint House as that was nice.
Not done Ciarans so might...
Oooh I've got one, not very interesting though.
Lucky Khao
Thai BBQ place that takes over the Red Roaster of an evening. Very popular. I thought it was okay. Nothing really jumped out at me as being particularly impressive and seemingly they had removed the most interesting item from the menu...
Been meaning to finally get here for so long. Will put in on the main list to visit.
I went to Moshimo the other day. The usual high quality unfussy food and with a membership lunch for two, without drinks, came to 35 quid and a fiver of that was tip. 8/10
