Can hearthily recommend a few hours in Altes Madchen if anyone happens to be in Hamburg. They do a dish of the day for 9.50 which was a nice bit of steak atop creamy polenta and roasted veggies which was washed down with one of their own Zwickel beers, brewed on site.
