Oh f***! I forgot about the Leconfield Arms. I was in a sherbert once up Edward Street and suddenly about 10 police cars screamed passed and loads of coppers were running up there from John Street. There was a proper punters v police ruck kicking off. Well funny to watch.

I've been drinking in the Martha Gunn a fair bit recently. Not the nicest place but the landlord is a decent chap and the locals are alright. You can always pick certain things up in there too.

The Red Lion on Queens Park Road at the top of Carlton Hill had a FEARSOME reputation back in the day but I don't know how true all that was. It's houses now.
