I'm somewhere in between then? Wendy James, Skunk Anansie, Shirley Manson maybe?

My biggest criticism of JRM as PM isn't his views on abortion or same-sex marriage, I suspect Tony Blair holds very similar views seeing as they are both mainstream Catholics. It's to do with the fact that he simply doesn't have the experience or knowledge of what life is like for the majority...

That's 'petard' by the way. It rhymes (sort of) with 'retard', a word that's quite pertinent here. Google it sometime.

"Worked up...." No-one is remotely worked up except for you when trying to spell four letters words. Sorry matey but your petard has been well and truly hoisted.

I can assure you I'm not dismissive of Clause 28. I left the party over that never to rejoin it and I won't be voting Tory all the while they have an alliance with the DUP.

I don't think the number of MPs or (shadow) cabinet ministers is relevant. It's about the chance to reach the top. The fact that they have women-only shortlists for years yet remain the only major political party not to have elected a woman as leader (even UKIP managed it) rather suggests that...

Yes, of course you're right there are glaring holes in the argument but I found it fun to rip the piss out of someone who goes around calling Tories thick yet has trouble spelling four-letter words and let's face it, he was never in a month of Sundays ever going to be able to come up with a...

Sorry matey, I haven't read either newspaper in years and don't intend to start now but if you need any help with any of the big words or spelling then give me a shout.

But we're talking about an academic study at a university that was mentioned in an article in The Spectator. Your refutation is simply "but this bloke who quotes the study writes for the Daily Mail therefore...you know....Daily Mail". That is frankly pathetic and it's an ad hominem. Google it...

You even mentioned Daily Mail in there, just for good measure. Brilliant! You've got nothing to come back with except your own petty prejudices, the obligatory mention of the DM and a very strong belief that ad hominems are valid arguments. Oh, I get it alright.

Haha! Bloke you don't like quotes academic study therefore the study must be rubbish. And because I quote the article from the bloke you don't like who incidentally has a first from Oxford then I must therefore be thick. Great logic. Really, really great.

And the facts seem to prove otherwise. Sorry to piss on your chips but Labour has neither the moral nor the mental high ground. It appears that statistically, if you vote Labour then you're the thicky...

They've had women only shortlists for years and even then whilst the Tories last leadership contest came down to 2 women, Labour still had 2 middle-class, middle-aged white blokes. Even now Labour tell us that somehow having Corbyn as PM would be better for feminism than Theresa May. Go figure.

Who will the next Tory leader

They've had women leaders and openly gay people in senior positions for yonks. They've been ready for years. It's the Labour Party that's well behind the times.
