    Fair play if that's your opinion. But less than 18 months ago, the country rejected a Labour party that was far more electable than the one under Corbyn.

    That's just it, though. The vast majority of the country are not socialist and will not vote for a truly socialist party at a General Election.

    Exactly this. The old school 'left wing' working classes don't really exist. The majority of the country has now shifted much more towards the centre ground, yet Labour is moving in the other direction. A centre-ist Labour party would have a real shot at winning a General Election.
