    Not really sure - I've only ever spent time on the drinking side of the bar, and I don't really want to go into why I knew the Caxton was available a while back (nothing sinister however!). All I understood was that for £15k the keys were yours, or the Albion's most famous fan as it turns out!

    I’m off to the Caxton tonight as it happens but didn’t know it had an Albion connection. Presumably it’s a new landlord - the lease was up for only £15k very recently. A Brighton/Sussex pub selling Kent beer though...

    Isn't is actually the case that they have reduced Palace's support by 1,000 but increased Albion's by 1,000 (if people buy the tickets)?

    Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising Darren Balkham and his colleagues - I don't doubt that they know far more about this stuff than me. However, doesn't this just slightly shift any problem, and not that far? You don't have to walk much further than the Caxton or the Battle to find another...
