    Maybe there's scope for mutually agreeing a reduction. I genuinely have no idea and don't have time to trawl the PL rule book right now.

    The information I have suggests that as Albion only get c2,000 seats at Selhurst Park, we're only giving them the same down here. As such it's not a policing imposed limitation. Seems perfectly valid to me. When they have a stadium worthy of the name, maybe that will change.
