    Ad-blocking

I simply don't have the time to deal with all this stuff right now as well as I'd like - I'm sorry.

    Ad-blocking

I answer each and every question I see. I may miss some but I'll not swerve them on purpose. There has NEVER been ad code applied to NSC that would result in a pop up or pop under. Again, some ads may misbehave occasionally and I'll do all I can to remove them as quickly as I can as soon as I...

    Ad-blocking

I've posted often enough about this, very possibly on this thread - I can't be arsed to look. I use NSC the same as everyone else who is logged in. I have the same ad units (maybe not always the same ads due to user targeting). I'd never intentionally make NSC so that it is a horrible...

You will be when you can't view NSC any more.

    Ad-blocking

I meant more that I could either give myself an ad-free view or use an ad-blocker, but I see no need. The stash is not a myth. The clues are there in clear view. Look harder.

Your tolerance must be very low if you’re talking about your experience as a logged in user. I use NSC more than most people and have the exact same view as any other of NSC’s thousands of members. And there’s absolutely no pain at all.

    Ad-blocking

Not if I don’t get it myself, no! But I’ll raise it with the ad agency.

If you're not running an ad-blocker, you don't need to. Do you see an ad banner at the top of NSC? If you're running an ad-blocker, then there'll likely be an icon/control in the menu bar of your browser. Click that and look for whitelisting/disabling or making an exception.

How will you know if you're blocking all sites by default?

    Ad-blocking

Without digging back through records, Tapatalk ad revenue is c$50 ($ not £) a month. It's the lack of control... - They can flood NSC within Tapatalk with ads - there's nothing I can do about it. - Their adverts seem to be very "low quality" - at least the ones I seem to get. - All images...

It's currently cashflow positive month on month, yes. But if everyone blocked ads then there wouldn't be an NSC as it stands.

    Ad-blocking

£3.99 to Tapatalk? Nope - it all goes to them. I've become less keen on Tapatalk, although I use it all the time myself because of the lack of control. They had begun adding a lot of ads into the product recently although, curiously, there doesn't seem to be any right now, and that's nothing...

    Ad-blocking

I was interested to see the impact, if any, of this thread. So far today 9.8% of pages have ads blocked. It's not been below 10% any time in the last month. Yesterday was 11.4%.

(Annoying jump on page loading fixed. Sorry about that.)

    Ad-blocking

NSC doesn't have an ad blocking option, browsers add-ons can be installed that do it for you.

    Ad-blocking

    Yup.

    Ad-blocking

As above, it did from Saturday through to this morning. It has been back to the smaller 728*90 since then.

    Ad-blocking

No it doesn't. That only started on Friday after another change I made. Thanks for reminding me to address that now. You won't be able to in the very near future. I suggest you have no idea what I'm imagining.
