Slightly OT. In the past most of the pubs in the Brighton to Worthing area were tied to either Tamplins or Kemp Town breweries. It is still possible to see the Kemp Town sign (usually in tiling) on some of their former pubs. I have never recently seen the Tamplins sign anywhere. Does anyone...
In My lifetime the following disappeared from Shoreham by Sea :
Kingston Inn, Surrey Arms, Morning Star, Burrell Arms, Green Jackets, Kings Head, Hebe, Arundel Arms plus the Schooner converted from a proper pub to a wine bar.
I seem to remember about 4 lost pubs along the A259 in Portslade.
