to be fair, in a parkrun there wouldn't be runners around you after the first 500m, a few in front, and a lot more behind.

I don't know what pace you're running at, but I'd suggest slowing down. Run at the pace you're trotting round at when you're reffing. If you need to walk a bit then walk a bit

Declaring my year end figures now. The NHS app has told me to isolate for 7 days due to a contact (haven't a clue where or when!) So my running streak has ended at 285 days. Miles for the year of 1677, previous highest was 1317 in 2019

I'm planning running our actual parkrun course on Christmas Day. Love the Christmas Day parkrun. Haven't seen the strava year review, is it subscription only? I'll be using the fetcheveryone one.

With no races to aim for I am running at least 5 of the days each week at recovery pace, 1 effort session a week, and maybe either a longer run or a sustained effort run once a week. My recovery run the day after efforts is often very slow (would normally be a rest day), I do try to do at least...

Would love to get to the end of this year. I started when Spain locked down with no excercise allowed (My son lives in Barcelona), perhaps keep it going until we come out the other side with more normality?
