You lot are mental! How the f**k did this end up arguing about Brexit
I honestly reckon some people think about Brexit every second of every day :lolol:
Again, I agree with all this to an extent (making people's private property toxic is a step to far for me but I can get with the sentiment). Stopping people going to work, stopping children getting to school, stopping people getting to appointment, stopping deliveries isn't going to make it...
These are just empty words! It would be like me trying to do magic because I watched Harry Potter and everyone patting me on the back for trying.
What do you think of my suggestion to make all of our electricity renewable or nuclear therefore eliminating emissions at the source?
How do you equate sitting in the road to saving the planet?
If they were genuinely serious they would be backing up their claims with data, studies and evidence. Where's the data that quantifies what effect this would have vs other measures?
It's almost like they just plucked something out of...
Can't argue with any of that. Personally I think there should be a big push to tackle the problem at the source - surely if 100% of our energy was renewable or nuclear then losing some of it via poor insulation wouldn't matter.
Interestingly this one has already done a bit of time in Wandsworth for a previous stunt.

Some of the quotes are incredible :lolol:
Well done chap, have an extra 3 months locked up!
This bloke is delusional, there were less than 200 of these ragtag bunch of weirdos to start with and a high proportion were retired pensioners. I can't imagine many more signing up just to get banged...
Perhaps it would solve the problem if the government introduced a points based incentive scheme for drivers.
10 points if you hit a retired academic
15 points for a long em unemployed anarchist
25 points bonus if you hit a white person with dreadlocks
These are empty words. Do you think that blocking one of the busiest trunk roads in the country is helping to save the planet?
The point here isn't whether it's a worthy cause (everyone thinks it is) it's the crude method they're using.
Do they really though?
It all seems a bit arbitrary, a bit futile.
There's been home insulation schemes in place for the last decade, low carbon hearing is getting a foothold in the market and had boilers are due to be phased out. As far as I can tell they want it to happen a bit faster.
This is the crux of the matter, they're taking direct action against the man in the street who has no power to influence policy.
I don't think you can just get away with saying you support direct action in any form. Caroline Lucas did it on BBC this morning, she was claiming that she'll...
Was just reading about these wallies blocking the M25 again and was surprised there hasn't been a thread after 2 weeks of their antics, I'm guessing mostly apathy and eye rolling than any strong feelings either way.
Does anyone actually support their tactic of inconveniencing normal people...
