Dreadful shot from woakes. In a bit of trouble now

Run rate not an issue for me at the moment. Think it's more important to keep them out in the field for a couple of days and psychologically grind them down.

Decent day. It reminds me of a golfer on the first day of a tournament going in at par because they didn't take risks. You can't win it on day one, but you can lose it. It's not amazing, but something to build on.

Have the TV director and cameramen been on the XXXX for breakfast? They keep missing the action, lots of groin shots when the bowler is in their delivery stride!

Good start, let's hope they can continue like this and not do anything silly. The pitch has taken the sting out of their quicks.
