I think, only think I must stress , that it was you who posted a clip from The Argus with an interview with CH and he said that he was a CM who was having to play further forward .due to our injuries.
Gross is a CM that we have moved forward out of need and as regards free kicks given away by Sidwell that is immaterial as he is out for another 2 -3 months.
Exactly my point I would rather take a chance on you with experience of other jobs and a basic knowledge than a young inexperienced lad just learning the trade.
I think that LR is very versatile and could do a similar job for us protecting the back four that Liam Bridcutt did. What is exactly Sidwell suffering with as it seems he has been out a long time.
I would expect both Schelotto who is earmarked as the eventual successor to Bruno and Suttner who provides keen competition for Bong to retain their places on the bench.
As I have said Gross could always revert to central midfield and TH partner GM if needed. I like Kayal and he has served us well but his tackling is a bit irrational to say the least and the Prem players will capitalise on that.
In the event of needing to replace Stephens or Propper during a game I would sooner drop Gross back to midfield and put Baldock up front in his place rather than bring on Kayal to defend a lead. Yes he played in the Champions League for a Championship standard side that won their national...
For your next joke!!
He has yet to prove that he is as good as either of them in this league as he hasnt played in it. He was good in The Championship but so were others who havent upped their game. That is not to say that he wont but not at the moment he isnt proved as such. IMHO he is...
When defending a lead with a few minutes to go I think that Kayal would be a liability with his tackling on the edge of our box as he gives away to many free kicks, which clubs in The Premier tend to capitalise on. This is the biggest black mark against him in that he gets carried away...
I have explained my logic, whether you agree or not is up to you but it is about opinions and the one that matters is CH. IF both are fit I think Baldock offers more than Kayal in the positions that we need with the alternatives available.
I would expect Brown and Baldock to be on the bench in home games and Kayal instead of Brown for away games. that is the best Kayal could expect. The important one is Baldock because if needed he could go into Gross position. Molumbu was on the bench because we didnt have any option as either...
I would agree with Baldock for Brown perhaps but at home I think that is there is no need for Kayal on the bench although it could happen away to United.
