I am one who is not disappointed at our interest cooling. IMHO there are better availble who represent better VFM.

I have no problem with signing him as he has shown to be a good player that could benefit us but my concern is the price being mentioned, not that it should be my problem as I am not paying it. So if TB, PB and CH are happy to pay it go for it.

We went through a period of time when every German that you met was arrogant and superior but now they are not so and the ones that are become an exception, Wagner is one of those exceptions.

I thought that he was more attacking than Stephens but must admit havent really taken much notice as he is one of those players brought in by Wagner who is fast becoming the bore of The Championship. He a typical arrogant German, which thankfully most arent now.

Ok I was only joking. I agree about a £3m fee.

Some of the Red tops have said it in recent weeks at a £3m fee. I have 2 views on it that _(a) CH would not like to lose him (b) £3m is a lot for PB to turn down.

    Aaron Mooy

Sorry that was a generalization as to players values and I should have said IF nobody else was interested the value would drop it was not specifically aimed at the Mooy situation and his value. I do think that he would be an improvement on Sidwell Norwood and Kayal, if the latter doesnt...

A player is only worth what a particular club is prepared to pay. If we offered £4m for Mooy and nobody topped it Man City have the choice to sell him to us or not but if we didnt budge from our offer and nobody else was interested that would bring down his price.

They are perceived as goal scorers but most failed to do what they were bought for. Prirtchard did his in half a season having proved his goal scoring ability previously with Brentford scoring 12 in 42 games (approx1 in 4 ) and his price was based on that and what was expected of him...

The difference being that those you quote are strikers/goal scorers who are always at a Premium, Mooy is not a prolific goal scorer.

That maybe but I still wouldnt want us to pay anything like that for him.

    Aaron Mooy

I wouldnt expect anybody to pay such a price for him and would hope that we dont even consider him at the price. If he was worth that amount City wouldnt have just sent him out on loan to a Championship club other than to try to induce them toi buy him.

    Aaron Mooy

Where does that ridiculous price tag of £10m come from for a man who has never played at the top level or shown any liklehood yo unless somebody takes a chance on him. At £10m they wouldnt take that chance perhaps £2m or £3m.

Transfermarket values Mooy at £850k but not sure how accurate that is. Must be worth consideration if Reading win the play offs but does he not play in the same position or similar to our new German.
