I dont dispute that but just saying it wouldnt have been my choice. The menu with those items on it would have put me off going there but it wouldnt do for us to like the same.

My favourite wine is Italian but it is expensive Vino Noble Di Multipucianno but must emphasis not the D'Abruzzo Multipucianno which IMHO is gash cheap and nasty.

I get the groupon e mails regularly and the only one we have used that was reasonable is the burger one at Aberdeen Steak house when wife comes out of her late hospital appointment at Royal Sussex. Burger and Chips x 2 for £6.99. It is usually about 6.30 so she doesnt want to get back home...
That is my view also and must be the same for many as they have many deals on Groupon to increase trade.
On the subject of company branded restaurants I think that Harvester has dropped off considerably. Wife likes the salad bar starter but I do not think the rest of the menu now offers value...

There is also one on the A22 north of East Grinstead and 1 in Tunbridge Wells. We used to visit the one in Chichester when we had the pub in Midhurst in 1995 and considered it a vast upgrade but very similar in operation to TGIF.
Indeed but other than the meat there is very little that you can do with roast potatoes and accompanying veg. It is either cooked or not but I do remember in my early days being told by a top chef that there is no such thing as being cooked correctly. Just cook it as you thi nk it should...
Simon who has the lease on that pub has just taken over the pub in Scaynes Hill , The Inn on the Green it was called but not sure what it is called now. I was told that he is a very good chef but perhaps not.
