Back when I first wanted to watch Beef, having had it recommended, I couldn't remember the name and was searching for "Meat".

Exceptionally violent? Either you're thinking of the wrong show or I've been thoroughly desensitised. It's also possible that I've forgotten the violence as a good few months have passed since I watched it 🤔

I'm 2 episodes in and enjoying it.

Why would anyone choose dubbing when you've got the option of subtitles? I enjoyed Lupin too. Good bit of lighthearted fun. Just finished the Night Agent, which is also worth a watch. It's a bit silly at times but entertaining. Just the thing to put on when you don't want to think too much.

I think it was Peter Bradshaw in the Guardian that gave it 2/5. The Observer critic was a big fan though. I'll report back after I watch.
