I've convinced myself this the Ditchling Road bridge over the A27.

Actually think that is where Ditchling Road crosses the A27 and that is the looking west towards the Hollingbury junction. Modern day view from Ditchling Road below and the original photo to compare:

it's not though. Unless that Bridge was completely rebuilt since the photo was taken it is very different. Also you can't see the Holmbush junction from there (as this street view from on the bridge shows).

Nope that bridge is different. I’m guessing it’s not local to Brighton.
