It seems to me that many advocating EU exit would not find this acceptable (free movement of EEA citizens to settle/work being an example) and as for implementing future EU legislation as is, having had no input/vote etc at any level - really?

You seem to be assuming here that the UK would remain a member of the EEA. If the UK votes to leave the EU then I don't see this as feasible.

A pass from me on the initial seeding (I genuinely have no idea) but aren't the funds raised secured against the EU budget? It seems to me that EFSM was designed for situations requiring an immediate response (sticking plaster) for use by the Commission as a temporary fix prior to other sources...

I think money used under the EFSM comes from the financial markets.
