Unless you want to start taxing farts there isn't a lot of greenhouse gases being emmited from bikes. The road tax rates are primarily based on CO2, hence why pure electric cars are exempt. There are taxes on trade bikes though. Anyway the government should be rewarding bike use, not taxing it.

There are drivers that are dicks. There are cyclists that are dicks. There are however more drivers than cyclists. As a unified community we should respect the minorities because statistically the majority of the dicks are in a car.
