It has an interesting storyline. I would think it would be good for us without addictions to see the struggles of everyone with addictions every second & every day they struggle. Every alcoholic & addicted individual seems to fall and break their need to stay away from their addicted substance.
Fisk lacks the satirical sharpness and dark brilliance of The Office. But the show has a strange, low-key charm, and vibrates at a comic frequency unlike anything else on TV now, and is worth watching for that alone.

That's interesting. I have a friend who works in the Parks Department in our city here in Indiana and every so often she would say "I think I'm having a Ludgate moment." It took a while for me to realize which character on which television show she was referring to when she said that.
I don't know if they have this in the UK yet but I just started watching Pivoting and it doesn't seem awful. :-)
