Earlier in this thread people were saying 'sell him', giving the different amounts they'd accept. Where was the loyalty to him then? Now people are affronted because he's shown he's as willing to leave here as most people on this thread were to let him go...
As best I can tell, Burke joined us in January 2012. These are the outgoings since then. Steve Cook was January 4th 2012, I don't know if Burke was in place for that or not.

I believe relegation clauses aren't as common as one would think, especially with clubs at the low end in danger of relegation. It's easier to insert one with a contract for arsenal, who are in no danger, but players rarely want to sign for a club because they are offering £X per week when there...
Would crofts be included in that list? Spent time in the prem before coming back to us, but we were in a higher division when he returned than when he left, weren't we?
I wonder if this news is something like a deal being agreed between bridcutt and Sunderland (perhaps unofficially, through back channels and totally not anything like trapping up) and that has been leaked and reported as everything being done or close to done, but the two clubs have yet to agree...
